Are you afraid of the cold at the end of the world?
It is very important to know that in Ushuaia, the only extreme is beauty.
Temperatures are not too low and we are not at an extreme latitude. Ushuaia's latitude -54º South- is equivalent in the northern hemisphere to that of the cities of Liverpool and Edinburgh, that is, between the Beatles and the English royal family.
Also the maritime condition of Tierra del Fuego makes it have milder temperatures than in continental climates. With an average of 0ºC in the city and -5ºC in the winter centers, the practice of skiing or snow entertainment in Ushuaia is much less exposed than in ski centers in Europe, the United States or Canada where skiing is done even at less than 20ºC below zero.
