Ushuaia Ski School located at the base of Martial Glacier, 7 kilometers from the city, offers a single track with a low slope, ideal for those who are just starting out and want to learn. There you will find equipment rental, the possibility of taking lessons and a great cuisine offer.
Then there is Cerro Castor, located 27 kilometers from the city. It offers a large number of slopes and infrastructure for all levels. It has equipment rental, lessons for all ages, a nursery for children and a diverse cuisine offer.

This activity requires specific equipment and physical preparation, in addition to mastering the technique for the descent. As it does not depend on means of elevation, it can be done in different mountains, not only in winter season, but as long as the snow conditions are suitable. You can ski mountaineering only with certified specially trained and experienced mountain guides.
