Offers different types of excursions:
This is the simplest option for all those who want to take their first steps in underwater exploration. A trip that allows you to observe the bottom and the marine life of the Beagle Channel. It is done floating on the surface using snorkels that allow us to breathe without having to take our heads out of the water. To face the low temperatures of the Beagle Channel we do this activity with dry suits (the same as for scuba diving).
This activity can be done by anyone in good health. It is not necessary to have previous knowledge of diving or swimming. It is done 1 to 1, that is to say, the person goes with an instructor, who handles all the equipment during the dive. First an introductory technical talk is given. When you enter the water (all the time with the instructor) you are on the surface for a while and after the adaptation the descent begins.
This dive is a guided dive, possibly with other divers of the same level. This excursion includes all equipment and the guide. During the dive you can see different species of crabs, starfish, anemones and much more. There is also the option of SCUBA DIVING in the Bridges Islands, in some of the most beautiful dive sites in the channel.
The duration of the activities is approximately 4 to 5 hours.
To dive there are a series of checks including weight, height and existing medical conditions.
Ushuaia Divers offers trips for certified divers and diving baptisms for those who have never dived before.
They have daily departures that leave from the AFASYN club. There they embark on a boat to the Bridges Islands where two dives are made in different places; in case of a baptism it is only one dive.
The excursion includes full equipment with a dry suit.
It does not include clothing to wear under the dry suit. It is necessary to bring a jogging suit or thermal underwear, a long-sleeved sweatshirt or thermal t-shirt, two pairs of thick socks and a towel.
Departures every day.
