Guided excursions depart from Nunatak to the Esmeralda lagoon and the Ojo del Albino glacier. Book in advance with Antartur.

All activities are conducted with guide assistance. The excursion concludes with dinner in a mountain shelter, including skewers, fire-cooked stew, wine, mulled wine, and traditional lumberjack coffee, before returning to Ushuaia.
Recommendations: Suitable for families. Not recommended for pregnant women or individuals with back, heart, or other medical conditions that may limit participation in outdoor activities.

Description: Transfer from Ushuaia to Tierra Mayor Valley. From Nunatak Refuge, the hike begins toward Emerald Lagoon, crossing snowy valleys, frozen streams, and native lenga and coihue forests. Time is provided to rest and enjoy the included box lunch before returning via an alternate trail. The excursion includes crampons or snowshoes (depending on trail conditions), trekking poles, and a box lunch.
